West Ham United will be looking to address their attacking woes in January, as Lazio forward Tijjani Noslin emerges as a candidate.

The Background

The Hammers are enduring an abysmal start to the campaign, which led to the sacking of their former manager Graham Potter. The reputable Nuno Espirito Santo was appointed as a replacement, but this has yet to turn the tide in favour of the East Londoners, who currently lie 19th in the Premier League, with only four points in the bag.

West Ham Seeking Attacking Reinforcement

In addition to the leaky backline, West Ham also have major attacking woes, having only scored seven goals in nine Premier League fixtures. Winger Jarred Bowen and attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta are leading the charts across all competitions with three strikes apiece, while their centre-forwards Niclas Fullkrug, Callum Wilson and Callum Marshall have only scored one goal between them.

West Ham Interested in Tijjani Noslin

Therefore, the EPL strugglers are seeking urgent attacking reinforcement, and according to Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), they have set their sights on Noslin.

The Dutchman is a versatile attacker who can play either as a winger or a centre-forward. He swiftly made a name for himself in Serie A after joining Hellas Verona in January 2024 and playing an instrumental role in the club’s survival. The following summer, he followed Marco Baroni to Lazio, but their collaboration in the Italian capital was far less successful.

Noslin Lost in the Shuffle at Lazio

This season, Noslin has been a mere benchwarmer at Maurizio Sarri’s court, only making four appearances off the bench, while his only notable contribution was winning the spot-kick that allowed Danilo Cataldi to score the last-gasp equalizer against Torino.

How much Noslin Would Cost West Ham

The source insists that Lazio and the 26-year-old are both open to parting ways in January, but the club wants to avoid making a capital loss on their investment. Hence, they’re hoping to receive an offer worth at least €16 million, which represents the attacker’s current book value. So it remains to be seen if the Hammers would be willing to meet this price.

  1. The truth is that only West Ham can be fooled to pay 16 mio for Noslin, they are a monument of bad decisions.
