The Biancocelesti are preparing to part ways with Alessio Romagnoli, who has already communicated his desire to leave to club president Claudio Lotito in a rather brusque fashion. He is expected to join Roberto Mancini’s Al-Sadd, who have offered him a lucrative three-year deal worth €18 million in total. His last hurrah in a Lazio shirt will take place at the Via del Mare on Saturday.
While the 31-year-old’s departure will be a major blow for Sarri, it might not be the last one in the January transfer market.

Furlani is personally leading the charge because the relationship between the Lazio patron and Milan sporting director Igli Tare has recently strained, despite working together for 15 years.

The source reveals that the Italian capital side has set its asking price at €16 million for the Barcelona native, whose contract will expire in June 2027.
