Nevertheless, most sources in the Italian press believe that AC Milan have made the most concrete progress on this front, with their sporting director, Igli Tare, keen to reunite with the defender whom he had brought to Lazio four years ago.
And yet, it has now been revealed that Napoli could also enter the race for the Spanish centre-back, especially following his impressive display at the Stadio Maradona last weekend, helping Maurizio Sarri’s men maintain a clean sheet. Gila’s Agent Tells Napoli to Contact Lazio
When asked about Napoli’s interest, Gila’s agent, Alejandro Camano, noted that anyone would be lucky to experience life in Naples, but insisted that he and his client won’t negotiate with any suitor before receiving the green light from Lazio.
