The organized Lazio fan groups have made contrasting decisions regarding attending the Coppa Italia final and the Derby della Capitale.
Lazio Ultras Have Been Protesting Against Claudio Lotito’s Reign
The supporters have been boycotting the club’s home fixtures as part of their protest against Claudio Lotito’s administration, demanding that the unpopular patron sell the club. This has been the case since the league fixture against Genoa on January 30, with the only exception being the clash against AC Milan, when the fans returned to their stands in what they described as ‘one last act of love’.
On Wednesday, Lazio beat Atalanta in the Coppa Italia semi-final following dramatic penalty shootouts. This set the stage for a hectic week in May, one that will decide the club’s entire campaign.
Lazio Set for Massive Week
The Biancocelesti will host Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico for a league fixture on May 9. Four days later, the two clubs will meet again at the same venue for the Coppa Italia final. The following weekend, Lazio will clash heads with their arch-rivals Roma in the season’s second edition of the Derby della Capitale.
Lazio Fans Will Only Attend the Coppa Italia Final
As reported by Calcio e Finanza, the Lazio Ultras plan to keep the word they had given to Maurizio Sarri and the players by attending the Coppa Italia final, but they won’t present for the Serie A fixture against the Nerazzurri or the Derby clash.
We gave our word that we would enter the stadium if the final were reached. Since it’s a neutral venue, we want to be close to the boys and give all the Lazio fans the chance to push the team forward in an important match like the Cup final.

Good. Wise decision. Final is not officially a home match so we should attend. Home league matches need to be ignore, since Milan was THE LAST act of love, not THE SECOND LAST. And since players are not used to full stadio it might be an extra motivation in Coppa Italia final, a massive boost.
Lazio fans are pathetic! They need to be there for the payers, the team has been playing great since the departure of the Castellanos Guendouzi etc. They want the club to be sold to some Chinese-Indonesian-Thailand-you name it football no nothing clown businessman?! Lazio is one of the only few clubs left with Italian owners, and Lotito, say what you want about him does care about this club and he’s proven the the called Lazio fans wrong. vergogna!
Are they really gonna boycott the Derby too?
I guess this year we’ve been so bad beating rioma is not on the cards, perfect excuse for the ultras/fans/whatever to not watch the abomination lol
to be honest i think those ultra’s hate against lotito is far greater than the love for the club, so this isnt surprising at all
