Lazio reportedly have the upper hand over Wolves and Watford in the battle for Fluminense attacker John Kennedy.
The Background
The Biancocelesti are searching the market for a new striker, and have set their sights on the Brazilian centre-forward as the tracks leading to Roberto Piccoli and Andrea Pinamonti have recently stalled. However, their €8 million opening offer has fallen short of Fuminense’s €12 million asking price.
Wolves & Watford Also Interested in John Kennedy
According to Express & Star, the Italian capital side isn’t alone in the race, as two English Championship clubs have been tracking the Brazilian forward. The first is the newly-relegated Wolves, who are renowned for their Portuguese-speaking contingent, and the second is Watford, owned by the Italian Pozzo family.
Kennedy Gives Preference to Lazio
Despite the English competition, Il Messaggero believes Lazio have the advantage in the race, as Brazilian sources insist Rome is the favorite destination for Kennedy and his family. The newspaper believes Fluminense could agree to sell the striker at €10 million, especially with his contract expiring in December 2027.
Kennedy: Career Path & Season Stats
Kennedy is a 24-year-old centre-forward who can also play as a second striker. He is an academy product of Fluminense, who had previous loan spells at Ferroviária and Pachuca (Mexico) before returning to the base in Rio de Janeiro in 2025. This season, he has thus far scored 14 goals and produced two assists in 35 appearances.

Really it’s good, with Brazilians they have a sense of football and it cant go worse than last season. Now get African Internationals! Kessie? A fast dribbling winger, Sulemana from Atalanta or Bakayoko of Leipzeig? I swear I recommended Brobbey years ago, he would do great. Also i believe in Danjums, low price, also there are reserve players in PL that would easily play in Serie A
How much would Brobbey cost¿
