Report: Foggia interested in Djavan Anderson

Djavan Anderson, Source – Lazio Channel

Summer signing Djavan Anderson has found it difficult to break into US Salernitana’s lineup and could be headed to Foggia for the remainder of the season. Lazio acquired Anderson on a free transfer from AS Bari after the team declared bankruptcy and was demoted to Serie D. The fullback trained with the Biancocelesti before being sent on loan to Salernitana. As Claudio Lotito also owns Salernitana it is extremely common for Lazio to send players on loan there, but the Dutch player seems to be unneeded there.

According to Tele Foggia, the Pugliese club are very interested in Anderson as they need him to reinforce their defense which has allowed 31 goals, tied for worst in the league. Foggia is fighting to stay in Serie B, currently sitting in 17th place, and could be desperate to loan in the defender for the remainder of the season. Anderson has only made only six appearances so far this season, so this could be a welcome move for him which could help him develop into a player that Simone Inzaghi could use next season.
