Lazio have been focusing on departures as of late, but now, they are turning to acquisitions. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, in their sights is former Torino and Atalanta defender Davide Zappacosta, who is currently playing in the Premier League with Chelsea. The 26-year-old does not seem to be fully involved in Maurizio Sarri’s plans and would like a return to Italy. There is an excellent rapport between his agent, Lucci and the Biancoceleste club and the operation to bring the player home is being studied: Lazio are hoping to sign Zappacosta on a loan with an option to buy (with reasonable figures), while Chelsea are proposing an obligation to buy.
