According to what has been reported by Sport Mediaset, via LaLazioSiamoNoi, Lazio have agreed a contract extension for the club’s sporting director Igli Tare. Tare’s current contract with the Biancocelesti expires at the end of this month and the reports suggest his contract will now expire in 2020 – with an option of two more years. Tare will also receive double his current wage, now to earn €1m per season – as he has given Lazio far more than that in profit over the years alone.
Tare has been responsible for some of Lazio’s best signings; Felipe Anderson, Thomas Strakosha, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas Leiva, Stefan de Vrij, Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto are but a few of the talents that Tare helped Lazio sign. Without the Albanian, the club would be in a different way now.
