Lazio’s Cristiano Lombardi has joined Salernitana ahead of the 2019/20 season. After reporting that the player was pondering the decision to play in the Serie B under Gian Piero Ventura’s reign less than a week ago, the Granata released their pre-season squad list yesterday with the 2-year-old’s being included. For the Italian, this will be his third consecutive season on loan away from Rome. Last year, the player made 13 appearances in all competitions for Venezia in their eventual relegation to the Serie C (in which Lombardi’s two-year loan contract was dissolved).
