Luis Alberto Ready to Shine After Making Peace With Sarri

Luis Alberto has refound his footing at Lazio after making peace with Maurizio Sarri and he’s keen to show his best once again.

The 30-year-old Spanish midfielder has often struggled to see eye to eye with the coach following his arrival in 2021, with things seemingly coming to a head in the first half of this season.

Luis Alberto was mostly left on the bench in the run-up to the World Cup break and one of his representatives confirmed that his client felt ‘uncomfortable’ with his reduced role in the Italian capital.

As reported by Tuttosport (via LazioNews24), Sarri and Luis Alberto have finally managed to mend their relationship and now the Spaniard is ready to produce magic on the pitch once again, feeling more positive and calmer.

Reflecting on his relationship with Sarri after the win over Sassuolo, the 30-year-old noted how he “spoke with the coach and […] clarified everything” after the World Cup break.

The Italian coach’s recent statements after the Biancocelesti’s Coppa Italia win over Bologna also suggest that he’s happy with Luis Alberto once again, highlighting how the Spaniard is “a total player, a phenomenal player.”
