Lazio is set to clash with Napoli for a pivotal second half of the season Serie A showdown. Both teams currently sit outside the top-four in the league standings, but they each still have a fighting chance to make a late push for one of these coveted four spots.
Lazio will certainly need its star talents to show up and deliver in this matchup, including forward Ciro Immobile. But for the Italian star, he has had potent success in recent Lazio and Napoli league fixtures.
Immobile has scored in Lazio’s last five league fixtures against Napoli dating back to the 2018/2019 campaign. The Lazio star has scored a single goal in each of these select fixtures, including the opening goal of the Biancocelesti’s home bout with Napoli earlier this season.
Immobile will surely look to not only notch yet another career goal against Napoli but also lead his side to a potential much-needed league win.
