Maurizio Sarri will meet with president Claudio Lotito later this month to discuss his contract renewal with Lazio.
The Biancocelesti president announced at the Christmas dinner that a new deal had been agreed with the 63-year-old Italian coach, but since then things have fallen quiet in Formello. Lotito is keen to tie Sarri down to a slightly longer deal with higher wages, removing the foreign-club release clause.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Sarri’s renewal with Lazio is still hanging in the balance and nothing has changed yet. He will meet with Lotito later this month to discuss the club’s ambitions, accounts and their targets in the transfer market.
