The draw of the 2018/19 Coppa Italia took place today at the Lega office in Milan.
For the round of 16, in which the Biancocelesti have already secured their place (along with sides such as Juventus, Milan, Napoli, Inter, Roma, Fiorentina, and Atalanta) there are many possible options for an opponent, but the most likely looks to be Parma, with Novara or Perugia another possibility.
If they are able to win and move forward into the quarter-finals, their likely opponent seems to be Inter, as the Nerazzurri’s hardest opponents are Empoli, Udinese, or Benevento – teams that Inter clearly have the upper-hand on.
Moving towards the semi-finals, their opponent looks to be the winner of Napoli or Milan – if Milan, it would be a possible chance to get revenge for last year’s loss in the Coppa Italia – and if progressing to the finals, it could be one of Juventus, Atalanta, Roma, or Fiorentina.
