According to what has been reported by CittaCeleste, Spal have not given up their interest in Lazio midfielder Alessandro Murgia. Murgia is one of the Lazio players who has been strongly linked with an exit on loan during this transfer window, as the club attempt to free up both squad space and wage budget before making any new signings.
Spal and Bologna have both been linked to the young midfielder, as well as Genoa and Empoli, but it appears as though Spal are the most serious about a deal – looking to have an official agreement made within the coming few days. With just over a week left of the transfer window, Lazio must sell soon if they wish to bring in any additions – such as Chelsea defender Davide Zappacosta who is being linked with a return to Italy with Lazio.
