According to what has been reported by France Football, Lazio are to face stern competition from Inter Milan for FC Porto’s expiring winger Yacine Brahimi. The 29-year-old Algerian has a contract expiring with the Liga NOS side in the summer and the tricky forward has been on Igli Tare’s shopping list for some time.
Inter, as per France Football‘s reports however, have made a pre-contract bid for Brahimi; wanting to get his signature on the dotted line ahead of the more competitive summer market. Inter have made some big blows in terms of free transfers in recent years; the departure of Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij still on the minds of many a Laziale.
Aside from Inter and Lazio, Arsenal are also said to be interested in the Algerian; who will almost certainly be leaving Portugal during the summer and moving to one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
