During the Coppa Italia final against Atalanta, the Seleco brand was not present on Lazio’s kits. To replace them, was Igea Banca, the exclusive sponsor for the final. However, there is a more substantial reason for this absence. In fact, the historic television brand associated with Lazio since the 1980s has gone bankrupt. The Court of Milan has recently declared the definitive liquidation of the Trieste company. Seleco accumulated huge debt because of their various sponsorships in the world of football, including the purchase of Pro Piacenza football club (which is also close to bankruptcy). This has led to the removal of their name from Lazio’s kits.
