Lazio star Ciro Immobile has returned to Formello today after suffering a knee injury scare in yesterday’s session.
As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian striker suffered a blow to his knee in yesterday’s squad training session, causing some apprehension around Formello during this crucial part of the season.

Immobile immediately recovered from the blow, however, and returning to squad training today. Lazio are hard at work preparing for this weekend’s Serie A clash against a Fiorentina side without star forward Dusan Vlahovic, who made an €80m move to Juventus last week.
The 31-year-old Immobile, who is contracted to Lazio until 2026, has made 26 appearances across all competitions this season, for a total of 2118 minutes. In that time, he has scored 21 goals and provided three assists, being the talismanic figure for coach Maurizio Sarri.
Immobile is fighting for his fourth Capocannoniere title, having netted 17 league goals this campaign, and he sits top of the Serie A top scorers table, tied with Vlahovic.
