Ciro Immobile is in Milan’s summer transfer market plans. The rumour announced by Sky Sport this morning, the Rossoneri management would seriously consider the Lazio striker to reinforce the attack after a lacklustre season from Croatian Nikola Kalinic and Portuguese Andre Silva.

The Rossoneri went on a spending spree over the past summer trying to bring the great AC Milan back to life – signings such as Andre Silva, Hakan Calhanoglu, Leonardo Bonucci, Franck Kessie, Lucas Biglia, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, and Andrea Conti were part of the 194 million euros spent by Chinese management.

However, the team underperfomed at the beginning under former coach Vincenzo Montella. It was not until Gennaro Gattuso was signed, that the team was finally united. They managed to finish in sixth place, securing a Europa League spot alongside fifth place finishers Lazio.

Fresh from the disappointment of the failure to qualify for Champions League, Ciro Immobile does not seem willing to leave the team that raised him, making him one of the most deadly strikers in Europe. Precisely for this reason, Milan hopes to convince Immobile to join the Rossoneri cause by offering him a much richer contract than he receives at Lazio, but Fassone and Mirabelli will have to deal with the assessment of President Claudio Lotito, who has no intention of depriving himself of the bomber.
